The vision behind Roots is the belief that spiritual growth is developed in the context of  healthy, authentic and lasting relationships. In the book of Psalms, David describes someone standing firm in their faith as one who is like a tree, rooted strongly by a source of water and bearing fruit.  Throughout the New Testament, the Apostle Paul uses botanical growth as an illustration of spiritual growth. Our hope is that Jr. High students at Woodland Hills Family Church grow strong spiritual roots that to help them stand firm as a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

Since relationships are so important to spiritual growth, life groups are the heartbeat of Woodland Hills.  We have several life groups for each grade that are broken down by gender. Groups currently meet on Wednesday nights at 6pm in the Student Life Center.

To help students get plugged in, we add newcomers to existing groups.

If you’re interested in joining a life group, please let us know by filling out the form below. If you’d like to know more, be sure to ask at Roots about the process of getting connected.
